Kansas Smitty's House Band

We had hoped to welcome back The Basin Street Brawlers for this jazz evening, but we are sorry to say that they can't make it. However, their trumpeter, Peter Horsfall, has thankfully come to the rescue and will perform with three members of another band he plays in, Kansas Smitty's House Band.

 

This band performs at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and BBC radio. It promises to be a great night, so please Contact us for information on tickets. In the meantime, here's a video where you can get a taste of their music.

Sutton Strollers (walking group)
Sutton Village Hall

We have started up a walking group for the village - The Sutton Strollers. 

 

We aim to have a walk the second Saturday of every other month, starting Saturday 11th September. 

 

We will meet at the village hall at 10am. 

 

Dogs on a lead are welcome.

Coffee mornings 2021
Sutton Village Hall

All Sutton residents and friends are welcome to join us for coffee /tea and home-baked cakes from 11am to 1pm at the Village Hall on the following dates:

11th December

 

There is no charge, but donations towards funds are much appreciated.

The Alex Hamilton Band
8pm Saturday 15th October 2021

Join us for an evening of British rock and blues with Alex Hamilton. His debut album at the age of 18 won the Scottish New Music Award and his subsequent albums have all been nominated for awards including the British Blues Awards.

We will share information on tickets shortly, but in the meantime, you can find out more about them and see a couple of videos of their music here.

Great Expectations
Hotbuckle Productions 
CANCELLED

Unfortunately, because of Covid-related issues,  Hotbuckle Productions  have made the difficult decision to postpone their tour to next year.  We very much hope to welcome them back with their adaptation of Charles Dickens "Great Expectations". We will let you know the date as soon as it is confirmed.
