Hall hire
The hall is available for hire at very reasonable rates and is regularly used for meetings, parties, classes, concerts, weddings, etc.
Do please check availability in our Village Hall Diary which is always kept up-to-date with all bookings.
Hire rates as of 1st February 2024:
Sutton residents: £8.00 per hour
Other hirers: £11.00 per hour
BBQ hire: £12
Pizza oven hire: £20
Table tennis: £8 per hour Sutton residents £10 for the equipment + £11 per hour hall hire.
On weekends a minimum hire period of 3 hours applies.

How to book the hall
1) Do please be sure to check availability in our Village Hall Diary as it is kept up-to-date with all current bookings.
2) Use this contact form to send us your request. For bookings, please give dates, start and end time, type of event and the number of expected attendees. Please remember to add on any time you need to set up before the event and afterwards, to tidy up for the next person using the hall. We aim to get back to you within 24 hours.
3) If you decide to confirm your booking, please read, sign and send to us the Letting, policy and hire agreement and make payment one week in advance of the booking. We will then arrange for you to pick up and return the keys. If you don't hear back from us within 24 hours, please check your Spam folder.
4) Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation of the booking from the Lettings Officer.

The hall can be set up in a variety of ways to suit the occasion, accommodating audiences of up to 100 people.
It measures 6.7m (22 ft) by 14.5m (47.6 ft), with a clearance between the floor and the rafters of 2.36m (7.7 ft).
The hall is equipped with 96 folding chairs, 16 tables 68x120cm, 5 tables 68x90cm, 15 portable configurable stage units 1m square and 30cm high, a table tennis table, bats and balls, an upright piano and a projection screen.
Unfortunately we do not have wifi.

The outside area
The spacious grounds offer off-road parking and are ideal for outside activities such as boules / petanque, volleyball, etc.
A defibrillator on the outside of the building next to the front entrance is available for anyone to use in case of emergency.
Our BBQ and pizza oven (including pizza tools) are available for use by prior arrangement (see hire fees). Ideal for parties!

The kitchen

Adjacent to the main hall area there is a small serving kitchen which is equipped with a fridge, microwave and industrial dishwasher. Crockery, glassware, cutlery and kettles are available for hirers to use.
A hatch opens up into the main hall allowing refreshments to be easily served.

Accessible to all
The Hall is wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet facilities and a baby changing area. There is step-free access through patio doors at the back of the hall next to the parking area.
